Triathalawn Tall Fescue  Need help with choosing? Need Ordering Information? This beautiful turf lends itself to wide use in model homes and front yards. It is green year around, withstands moderate shade and is easy to mow and maintain. Like bluegrass and other fescues, Triathalawn is native to somewhat temperate climates and special care must be exercised during the hot summer months to avoid damage caused by heat stress diseases. Its tall blades are of medium texture and are best maintained at a height of 1 ½ - 3 inches. It can be mowed with a rotary mower and will not send out runners into flower beds. Triathalawn does best in soils which have been well prepared and regular fertilization and watering programs are used. Triathalawn is available in sod or seed.
